Five Tips for a Google Places Page

  1. Use your business URL - fairly obvious to increase traffic to your web presence for more information and to convert them to a customer
  2. Use keywords for your description - write a relevant and compelling description of up to 200 characters with your main keywords/keyword phrases.
  3. Use images and videos - add up to 10 photos and up to five videos that add value and make your business stand out 
  4. Use the Google Place marker accurately for your location - the location pointer will enable potential customers to see your exact location on Google Maps in relation nearby landmarks
  5. Verify ownership for location - ensure that you claim ownership of the Google Places page for your location so that you can then manage the information periodically
